A native of Chicago, Simone began studying circus arts at The Actors Gymnasium at age seven, and classical ballet at Chicago Ballet Arts at age eight. In high school she appeared in various theatrical circus productions around the city, after which she decided to study circus instead of going to college.

Simone attended the Professional Aerial Training Program at Circus Center San Francisco from 2008-2011, where she specialized in aerial hoop under Russian swinging trapeze artist Elena Panova.

Simone's professional credits include Cirque Polynesia, Lone Star Circus, and a tour of North American fringe festivals with the show Twisted Beats & Circus Feats.

Most recently, Simone decided to become a contortionist as well, and has spent much of the past year training with Leslie Tipton in San Francisco. She now has two acts that she loves, in aerial hoop and ground contortion.
